Challenge:

Online shopping is very convenient, but there are several challenges for both consumers and merchants. Consumers can trust product/service reviews as many professional reviewers get money for giving good reviews. There is only one way that consumers might get reliable information, which must be crowdsourced. The companies have also captured the review section on different e-commerce websites. There are several fake reviews that can be easily spotted by experienced users. Nowadays, some companies are tying up with certain e-commerce websites for their flash sales, and this also makes it suspicious that the e-commerce website won't be displaying negative comments/ reviews about a product.

Similarly, small merchants are facing the following problems:
- Merchants do not directly interact with their consumers; it's challenging for them to collect the feedback and improve their services or products.
- There can be hundreds of reviews for their product, but they aren't able to get crux out of them since they don't know which customer has what preferences and suggestions. Overall, there is no credibility of any online review, and it’s very difficult for consumers to buy products from relatively less known websites.

Solution:

With this innovative solution, we are trying to bring back the offline shopping experience for consumers as well as merchants. It’s very common during online shopping to ask for recommendations of shopkeepers, other customers, among others. Also, here the consumers can know if there is anyone who has used that product before (if they are willing to share) and get recommendations.

Based on buying habits, we can recommend them other stores, which due to today's duopoly (in the Indian market), doesn't get discovered.

This unification will help in closing the loop that exists between aggregators Amazon-Flipkart and other small merchants that sell products and services online. This can also add as an additional source of income for small reviewers if other consumers like their reviews. It will also help small merchants increase revenues by providing services to more customers and improving their services/products.

Consumers will get access to verified and reliable analysis of reviews. And, get rewarded for providing reviews for different products across websites.
